FastIgnite provides executive advisory services to entrepreneurs and companies. I have been a co-founder or founding investor in many companies. I am looking to help great entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life.
- Experience
My core experience is in getting early-stage startups from concept through fundraising to revenue and enabling later-stage companies to achieve their potential. Because I have extensive entrepreneurial, investment, product and go-to-market expertise, I take a holistic approach and engage on multiple fronts. I have helped startups raise millions with nothing but slide decks while protecting founders’ equity. I have led intellectual property strategy discussions and been listed as co-inventor on many patent applications. I have recruited at all levels: board of directors, advisory boards, executive team and individual contributors. I have worked with companies on both coasts and in Europe. I even helped choose and assemble the furniture at one of my companies. - Network
The key to my effectiveness is my and my advisors’ networks. We have collected an impressive number of relationships since the early days of the Web, through multiple startups and many years in venture capital. If we don’t know the answer to a question (we often don’t!) we probably know someone who does. Our human capital database weaves together tens of thousands of names from dozens of sources. We have helped many in the past and now many are happy to help our companies. - Engagement
I value honesty, directness and partnership, ideally mixed with a good doze of fun. I am passionate about both innovation and execution. I like to solve big problems in simple ways. I prefer to generate new options rather than pick from a list of options I don’t like. I engage with a select few companies who share my approach as co-founder, executive advisor or acting CTO. I work with companies both pre- and post-funding.
