Michael Collette

michael colletteMichael Collette is Managing Director of MediaTech Strategies, Inc., a venture advisory and strategic planning consultancy focused on the impact of emerging technologies on the evolution of media markets.  Most recently, Mr. Collette was President and Chief Executive Officer at PhyFlex Networks, a communications equipment company that was sold to Ciena Communications in October of 2007.  Prior to joining PhyFlex, Mr. Collette was CEO of Ucentric Systems, the first company to successfully productize multi-room DVR, that was sold to Motorola in January of 2005. Prior to his role at Ucentric, Mr. Collette was Senior Vice President of marketing and business development for OpenTV, where he was responsible for the global positioning of the company’s interactive television architecture, applications and media solutions. He also held senior executive positions at ICTV (now Active Video), General Instrument (now Motorola), PlayboyTV and TVN Entertainment.

Michael Collette received his MBA degree from UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management and his undergraduate degree in English and Social Science from University of California, Berkeley.

Stan Dolberg

Stan DolbergFounder and principal of Carriage House Consulting LLC, Stan Dolberg brings over 25 years of experience to helping technology companies make strategic decisions based on proprietary structured research and analysis methods. Prior to founding Carriage House Consulting in 2003, Stan served as chief research officer and vice president of Strategy at Forrester Research. At Forrester Stan led the charge into eCommerce research, scaled research to 250 professionals worldwide, and architected and led Forrester’s post-dotbomb turnaround. Before Forrester, Stan held a series of officer-level positions where he focused on introducing new technologies and penetrating new markets, including Visix Software, Unix System Laboratories, and Adelie Corporation. Stan is an internationally collected wood artist. He holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard College and a masters in business administration from the Carroll School at Boston College.

Jim Lippie

Jim LippieJim Lippie is president of Staples Network Services by Thrive. He is responsible for guiding the company’s overall business strategy with a vision of becoming the premier provider of outsourced IT support for emerging and mid-market companies. Before being named president in 2005, he served as Thrive Network’s director of business development.

Under his leadership, Staples Network Services by Thrive has built an impressive client roster and has experienced exponential revenue growth. The company has been recognized as a Microsoft® Gold Certified Partner for Support Services and as one of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies by the Boston Business Journal. Lippie also spearheaded the company’s successful acquisition by Staples, Inc.

Prior to joining Staples Network Services by Thrive, Lippie was a partner at Client First Associates, a management and organizational development consulting firm. He is also the author of Five Management Principles in One CREAD: A Management Guide to Live By and a member of the board of directors of the Sean McDonough Charitable Foundation.

A native of Massachusetts, Lippie received his bachelor’s degree in public relations and his master’s degree in urban affairs from Boston University.
